US Infantry branch of service cord.
24 inch (60cm) length of Infantry Blue cord, this is for all Infantry divisions like 29th Infantry Division and including the airborne paratroopers and the likes of the US Army Rangers.
This is the same type of braiding that is sewn onto the enlisted garrison cap but it is a rounded cord (the cord on the caps has a flat piece running along the length so that it can be sewn onto the cap). This braid was used to make neck cords to hang your dog tags from.
I saw an original WW2 enlisted A class tunic at a show in America a few years ago which was worn in the war by a soldier in the tank destroyer units and he had sewn a length of tank destroyer branch of service braid around his tank destroyer patch and I have always remembered it as looking rather smart. I have since seen one other tunic badged the same again a Tank destroyer but if it was good enough for the tank destroyers it must have been good enough for rest of the army.
Price is for 1 pack of branch of service cord of Infantry Blue which is 2 foot in length (60cm), the patch is not included.
